Subaru Forester SUV Recall more than 275 000
Subaru is recalling more 275,000 Forester SUV because a rear seat belt may not hold a child seat securely in place. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on its website Thursday that the rear center belt doesnt meet federal safety standards.
Subaru has broken down potentially affected models by year: 88,759 2009 Foresters built from November 26, 2007 to March 26, 2009; 111,830 2010 Foresters built from January 28, 2009 to August 6, 2010; 74,802 2011 Foresters built from June 10, 2010 to August 31, 2011; and a to-be-determined number of 2012 Foresters built from May 25, 2011 to March 13, 2012.
